Prof. Dr. Şule Ergün completed her undergraduate and Master of Science Studies at Hacettepe University – Nuclear Engineering Department. After completing her doctorate at Pennsylvania State University in 2006, she started working as a lecturer and researcher at Hacettepe University Nuclear Engineering Department. She worked as a faculty member at the same department and worked as the consultant and researcher in different projects. Her research interests are sub-channel analysis, safety and design analysis, and two-phase flow modelling. She served on the board of directors of the “Nuclear Engineers Society” and “Radiation Protection Experts Society”. In addition to her current position at the university, she was the acting head of the Radiation Protection Department of the Nuclear Regulatory Authority between June 2019 to October 2021. Dr. Ergün took part in many national and international projects. She has many scientific publications within the scope of SCI.
