Dr. Hüseyin Ayhan completed his undergraduate education at Hacettepe University, Nuclear Engineering Department in 2008 as the first rank in the department. He completed his master and doctorate education in the same department in 2011 and 2016, respectively. He was employed as a research assistant during his graduate education. Dr. Ayhan joined FİGES as a manager of the Nuclear Technology Department in 2017. He is responsible for technical planning and project management in nuclear projects. He works as Chief Technology Officer at ThorAtom company, which was established by FİGES to carry out nuclear activities. Dr. Ayhan has expertise in many fields. Nuclear thermal-hydraulic, neutronic design, reactor safety and system design are among these areas. He took part in many scientific projects as a researcher and consultant. He has publications in many scientific journals within the scope of SCI and papers in international conferences. He is also a referee for international journals in the nuclear field.
